Strategic Planning for Improving the Population Services of the Subdistrict of Buduran Office, Sidoarjo Distric

Abstract

This research was conducted on the basis of the many problems that occur in the delivery of public services to the community such as mechanisms and procedures that are complicated and difficult to understand. Population services of Buduran District Office are not fully able to meet the demands of society and environmental changes.This research aims to explore, search, find data, problems and factors related to improving public service performance. Identify and analyze strategic factors of the internal and external environment containing with SWOT analysis, then determining the right strategic issues. Strategies can then be determined to respond to these issues, namely by doing, among others 1) Provision of facilities and infrastructure, 2) Optimizing socialization and education to the community, 3) Increasing the capacity of human resources apparatus , 4) Recruitment of human resources apparatus specifically , 5) Strengthening coordination and socialization to village governments and communities.
