It is interesting that when documentaries are linked to culture, there is a challenge in maintaining accuracy and sensitivity to the cultural context being highlighted, as documentaries have the ability to stir the emotions of the audience and raise awareness of certain issues. It can influence the audience's views and attitudes towards those issues, encourage them to think more critically, and even encourage constructive action. In the research to make this Wayang Sarip Documentary, the researcher used a descriptive qualitative research method. Wayang Sarip is an observational mode documentary, which emphasizes the observation and creation of an objective picture of the reality faced in the film.
