This study used a quantitative experimental research method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data collection methods used in this study through observation, test questions, and documentation. Besides that, data analysis in this study used the normality test and paired simple t-test. The samples taken in this study were class 4 al-farobi SD Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo as many as 28 students. From the results of research on increasing students' vocabulary through test questions, the average pre-test was 60.71 and the average post-test was 82.50. The results of the calculation of the paired sample t-test sig (2-tailed) < Alpha Research (0.000*<0.05), showed that there was an effect of crossword puzzles (TTS) on increasing student vocabulary. This proves that there is a significant effect of using crossword puzzles (TTS) on increasing student vocabulary.
