Some of the games presented in the play store and app store are free to play or free to play, so players don't have to pay to play games that are free to play. Then from focusing on selling items in the game, the game daveloper earns income. This research is aimed to find out the factors that cause consumptive behavior of online game players as well as communication psychology tactics used by developers in Free Fire, Clash of Clan, and Mobile Legend games in lulling players' consumptive behavior in making purchasing decisions for items in the game. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of observation. The results of this study are persuasive communication psychology tactics such as emotional cognition, scarcity theory, and foot in the door techniques to sell items in the game.
