Abstract

The methodology used in this research involves using appropriate hardware and software to implement augmented reality technology. First, Javanese traditional houses are modeled and mapped using three- dimensional design software. In addition, the use of hardware devices such as smartphones allows access to three-dimensional objects by targeting predefined marks. In this research application, several features will be presented, namely object scan features, sound features, animation features and description features about the history of Javanese traditional houses. Thus, the purpose of this research is to become a new learning media system about the history of Javanese traditional houses at Ganting State Elementary School. Tests in this study obtained a percentage score of 82% of the 10 students and 3 teachers surveyed who stated that the application in this study was feasible to apply to history learning at Ganting Public Elementary School
