Body Shaming is an act of commenting, criticizing, humiliating and insulting body shape and body size such as having a fat body, too thin a body, height to skin color. The rapid pace of technology is now increasingly spurring directors to make films with the topic of body shaming. Actions of body shaming that have started to occur frequently in society. The purpose of this research is to find out the meaning related to body shaming and to find out the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth in the film series Induk Gajah. To achieve the research objectives, researchers used a qualitative approach with Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. The results of this study are the meaning of denotation in this film seen from the actions and dialogues. Induk Gajah serial film contains hidden meanings in several dialogues spoken by the characters such as "pregnant mother" and "elephant belly".
