The increasing number of vehicles in Indonesia is also directly proportional to the increasing number of accidents caused by these vehicles. One of the accident factors is the vehicle which is not safe with the cause being dominated by problems with the brakes. The problem that often occurs is overheating in the brake system which results in brake failure (fading). This study aims to detect braking working temperature and provide an early warning system for overheating to the driver. The method used in this system is designed using Nodemcu ESP8266 and a Thermocouple sensor which will work if the temperature reaches the specified limits from the program will transfer a warning notification to the driver via the LED indicator, and send notifications to the smartphone via BOT APK Telegram , displays the temperature display on the 16X2 LCD, and BUZZER as a warning that the temperature.
