This study aims to determine the perceptions of the Lebo village community on the marriage tradition in choosing a partner based on weton calculations. This study applies a qualitative approach to phenomonological studies. Data collection techniques used interviews with the community, especially residents of Lebo village who had carried out a wedding tradition using the basis of weton calculations, The results of the research found that people who still use the tradition of determining the time of marriage are Javanese people who still hold cultural values. Traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation have become speeches that must be preserved by the community. From this speech, there is a meaning to live life, especially in a marriage that requires a good time.
People's perceptions will appear when they see a phenomenon that exists in the environment and perceptions will influence a community's attitude.
