Abstract

The management of existing equipment at Dipo Kereta Malang in the process of borrowing and returning still uses conventional methods, where employees write in available books. This can cause problems including a lot of unrecorded data, while at the same time officers are doing other work. Then, when the process of searching for tool data in the book takes time. In addition, officers will always check the availability of equipment before borrowing. From the explanation of the above problems, a web-based tool control system will be created. With this web-based system, it can produce information in the form of tool availability, loan reports, and changes in the tool lending process where tool borrowing is carried out on the previous day for tomorrow's work. For this reason, employees no longer need to do manual recording which is considered less effective and efficient in the future.
