Abstract

This research aims to determine the Communication Strategy of the "Talk Mbois" Podcast from Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The informants involved in this study are the Head of the Laboratory and the Radio Laboratory Assistant at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. Data collection for this research is done through in-depth interviews and observations. Observations were conducted by observing the Talk Mbois podcast channel on Spotify.The findings of this research indicate that the Talk Mbois Podcast has successfully built a wide community through effective communication strategies. One strategy used is the repetition of messages, which helps the audience understand the conveyed message. This repetition of messages is found in the opening bumper of each podcast episode. Additionally, the Talk Mbois Podcast enhances audience interaction by utilizing the Q&A feature available on the Spotify application.
