Abstract

This study aims to optimize the user interface design of a mobile application for outpatient patients at RSUD Sidoarjo Barat to provide a more intuitive, informative, and user-friendly experience. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach to design and implement the interface based on outpatient service needs. The implementation produced interfaces for login and sign-up, patient registration, service and payment selection, and queue and payment information. The design considered navigation, information clarity, visual consistency, and continuity of the patient service flow. The results indicate that integrating registration, payment, queue information, and directions to the outpatient clinic within a single application can simplify patient interaction with outpatient services. Further usability evaluation is needed to assess the effectiveness and user satisfaction of the developed design.
