Abstract

The Shopee application is an online shopping platform that makes it easier for entrepreneurs to market their products. Shopee currently has a new program, namely Affiliate Shopee which is a joint marketing effort between two or more companies to market both businesses simultaneously. The purpose of this research is to find out how the marketing communication strategy by the shopee affiliate program is. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques using the content analysis method. This research was conducted by observing video content on the @mangzilasf account and conducting interviews with related parties who joined the shopee affiliate program. The result of this research is to gain knowledge about the new shopee affiliate program to facilitate the marketing communication activities of a company with influencers. This shopee affiliate program is commonly referred to as a symbiosis of mutualism in which two or more companies benefit each other.
