Digital and gamified learning media have become increasingly important in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction to enhance student engagement and learning experiences. This study explored eleventh-grade students’ perceptions of using ZEP Quiz as an interactive learning medium in English classes at a state senior high school in Sidoarjo, Indonesia. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through open-ended questionnaires from 35 students and semi-structured interviews, then analyzed using thematic analysis. Four themes emerged: perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, engagement, and comfort. Students perceived ZEP Quiz as improving learning comprehension, vocabulary development, and learning effectiveness through an intuitive interface, despite minor technical constraints. The gamified environment also increased motivation, encouraged classroom participation, and created a more enjoyable learning atmosphere. These findings indicate that ZEP Quiz can serve as both a gamified assessment platform and an interactive instructional medium that supports meaningful English learning experiences.
