Late arrival behavior is a disciplinary issue related to low self-regulation skills and students' lack of awareness of the importance of time management. Initial research at SMAN 1 Krembung revealed that 39 students experienced repeated tardiness, with 43.6% in the moderate category and 28.2% in the severe to very severe category. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of implementation intention-based psychoeducation in improving students' understanding of self-regulation related to attendance discipline. The method used was a quasi-experimental One-Group Pretest–Posttest design. The instrument used was a self-regulation scale consisting of 18 items with a reliability level of 0.829. The intervention was carried out for two weeks through psychoeducational activities and the preparation of if-then plans. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and a paired sample t-test. The results obtained showed an increase in understanding of self-regulation after the intervention.
