Effectiveness of Various Types of Liquid Organic Fertilizers on Nutrient Uptake and Growth of Cayenne Pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.)

The experiment was arranged in a Randomized Complete Block Design with a single factor consisting of seven treatments: Organic Potassium Extract Liquid Fertilizer, Hormone Liquid Organic Fertilizer, Potassium Carbonate Liquid Organic Fertilizer, Enzyme Liquid Organic Fertilizer, NPK fertilizer, cattle manure, and an unfertilized control. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by the Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test at the 5% significance level. NPK fertilizer produced the highest values for plant height (31.67cm), number of leaves (33.00), stem diameter (4.67mm), leaf area (93.00cm²), and soil NPK content (84.67). Among the liquid organic fertilizers, Potassium Carbonate Liquid Organic Fertilizer showed the best performance in promoting plant growth, achieving a plant height of 26.67cm, 25.67 leaves, a stem diameter of 4.33mm, and leaf area of 77.42cm². Organic Potassium Extract Liquid Fertilizer resulted in the highest soil NPK content (65.67) among the organic fertilizer treatments.
