Waste in the production process reduces efficiency, increases production costs, and hinders production target achievement. This study aims to identify waste, analyze relationships among waste types, and determine the most critical waste using the Waste Assessment Model (WAM). Data were collected through observations, interviews, analysis of production, inventory, and defect data, and the Waste Assessment Questionnaire (WAQ) completed by a leader, supervisor, and production manager at PT Yamaha Electronics Manufacturing Indonesia (YEMI). WAM analysis included the Seven Waste Relationships (SWR), Waste Relationship Matrix (WRM), and WAQ. The results indicate that inventory waste is the most critical (Final Yj = 0.1200), followed by defect waste (0.1101) and overprocessing waste (0.0794). These findings provide a basis for prioritizing improvement efforts to enhance production efficiency.
