Students’ English literacy skills remain an area of concern in the learning process. This is because classroom activities often relies on monotonuous method that are teacher-centered, resulting in students being less active during lessons. Therefore, more engaging learning activities are needed so that students can participate directly and more easily understand the material being studied. This study was conducted to determine how the implementation of the Word Scavenger Hunt can help improve students' English literacy skills. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach, involving ninth-grade students at SMP Al Islamiyah as the research subjects. Data collection was conducted through classroom observation, open-ended questionnaires, and documentation throughout the learning process. During the activity, students appeared more active and enthusiastic while participating in the classroom. The data obtained were then analyzed using triangulation techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
