Abstract

The development of character and positive habits in elementary school is essential for students’ holistic growth. However, fostering positive habits among lower-grade students has not been fully optimized. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the “7 Habits of Great Indonesian Children” Program at SDN Sidokare 2 through guidebook analysis and the understanding of teachers and the principal. Using a qualitative case study design, data were collected through interviews and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman framework. The findings reveal that the program has generally been implemented according to the guidebook, supported by teachers’ and the principal’s good understanding of the program. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including limited student mentoring, insufficient parental involvement, and inconsistent monitoring and evaluation. Therefore, strengthening program implementation and management is necessary to achieve more optimal and sustainable outcomes.
