This article examines the effectiveness of the Next Generation Social Welfare Information System (SIKSNG) application in managing poverty data in Sumput Village, Sidoarjo District. The main objective of this study is to evaluate the extent to which SIKS-NG can improve the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of poverty data management and support targeted decision-making. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative methodology with data collection through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results show that although SIKS-NG has helped improve the system for recording and managing citizen data, its effectiveness is still hampered by a lack of socialization to the community, minimal field visits, and technical constraints such as infrastructure and data verification. These findings emphasize the importance of increasing awareness and installing infrastructure to optimize the usefulness and utilization of SIKS-NG. Collaboration between the village and the community is important to optimize poverty alleviation.
