Self-confidence is an important aspect of adolescent development that influences learning participation, resilience in facing academic challenges, and social adjustment. Initial observations at Muhammadiyah 1 Middle School Sidoarjo showed that some students had low self-confidence, such as fear of speaking in class and reluctance to give presentations. This study aimed to determine the effect of peer social support and self-concept on students’ self-confidence, both partially and simultaneously. The research used a quantitative correlational design. The population consisted of 583 students, with 221 students selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected using Likert-scale instruments. Data analysis used multiple linear regression with SPSS 26. The results showed that peer social support and self-concept simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on self-confidence (F = 23.368; p < 0.05). Both variables contributed 17.7% to students’ self-confidence, indicating the importance of social support and positive self-perception in adolescent confidence development overall significantly today.
