Abstract

Teaching the Qur’an using the Qiraati method is one of the methods used to improve students’ ability to read the Qur’an with proper recitation (tartil) according to the rules of tajwid.The purpose of this study is to analyze problems in Quranic education using the Qiraati method at the Fastabiqul Khoirot Quranic School in Bluru Kidul Village, Sidoarjo, and to identify the factors causing these problems. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation.Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The results indicate that the implementation has followed the learning stages; however, several challenges remain, including differences in students’ reading abilities, lack of concentration, limited study time, and irregular attendance.These issues are influenced by teacher, student, and parent factors, including instructors who have not yet obtained Qiraati certification, resulting in less optimal learning.
