Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Geoclock learning media on the cognitive learning outcomes of fifth-grade students on circle material. The study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design involving 30 students. Data were collected through pretest and posttest and analyzed using a paired sample t-test and N-Gain. The research results indicate a significant improvement in learning outcomes, as evidenced by a p-value of 0.000 (less than 0.05) and an N-Gain score of 0.3840, which falls into the moderate category. This improvement was more pronounced among students with low initial proficiency. These findings suggest that the use of the Geoclock can help students understand the concept of a circle more concretely through visual presentations and interactive activities. Therefore, the Geoclock can serve as an alternative tool in elementary school mathematics instruction to support conceptual understanding while increasing student engagement.
