Abstract

This study aims to develop an Augmented Reality (AR) learning medium based on Assemblr Edu for fifth-grade elementary school students on the water cycle material. The media is designed to visualize abstract concepts more concretely through printed markers integrated with real-time 3D objects on smartphones. This study uses the ADDIE development model, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The developed media features interactive labels and animated 3D visualizations of evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and infiltration processes, supported by rotation, zoom, and touch-based interactions. The results indicate that the AR-based media enhances interactivity, improves students’ conceptual understanding, and increases learning motivation. Furthermore, this media supports the integration of digital technology in line with 21st-century learning demands.
