Implementasi Program Posyandu Lansia dalam Meningkatkan Kesehatan Lansia di Desa Sumorame

This study examines the implementation of the Elderly Posyandu Program in Sumorame Village, Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency using George C. Edwards III’s policy implementation theory. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method through interviews, observation, and documentation. The program provides integrated health services for elderly individuals, including routine health examinations, health education, supplementary feeding, and counseling services. The findings show that program communication has been effective through WhatsApp groups and written notifications. However, challenges remain in resource availability, such as limited healthcare personnel, inadequate facilities, and insufficient formal training for new cadres, despite increasing village financial support. The implementers demonstrate strong commitment and dedication, yet written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are not available as formal guidelines. This study emphasizes the need to improve resources, facilities, SOP development, cross-sector collaboration, and family involvement to support healthy and independent elderly populations.
