This final project is entitled "Implementation of the TaRL Approach in Strengthening Students' Independent Character at Muhammadiyah 1 Candi Elementary School." This study aims to describe the implementation of the TaRL approach and analyze its impact on students' independent character. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The TaRL approach is implemented in a planned and contextual manner based on students’ learning needs. It begins with a diagnostic assessment to identify initial abilities, followed by flexible grouping according to ability levels. Learning materials and activities are then adjusted to suit each group. Monitoring and evaluation are conducted regularly to track progress and support learning transitions. The implementation of TaRL contributes to strengthening students' independence, seen in their awareness of strengths and weaknesses, willingness to try tasks independently, and ability to manage time and learning strategies effectively.
