Abstract

This study aims to analyze the formation of collaborative values in elementary school students through traditional games in Kampung Lali Gadget. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a single case study involving elementary school students who consistently play traditional games in Kampung Lali Gadget. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation as primary data sources. Data analysis involved coding, data reduction, and verified conclusions through triangulation. The results show that collaboration values include division of roles and responsibilities, cooperation and mutual assistance, active participation and contribution, and respect for others’ opinions. These values emerged naturally through social interaction during traditional games. The findings indicate that Kampung Lali Gadget functions as an effective non-formal character education space in fostering collaborative values among elementary school students and contributes to strengthening community-based character education studies through understanding the natural and continuous internalization of collaborative values.
