The use of handphones among children continues to increase along with the development of digital technology and has the potential to cause negative impacts on behavioral, social, and academic development. However, the identification of addiction risk is still often carried out subjectively by parents, making the assessment unstructured and difficult to measure consistently. This study aims to design and implement a web-based expert system to diagnose the level of handphone addiction risk in children based on daily behavior. The system applies the forward chaining method with an IF–THEN rule base, while development follows the stages of the System Development Life Cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing. System evaluation is conducted using black box testing and user acceptance testing involving 15 respondents. The results show that all system features function properly with a success rate of 100%, and the user acceptance level reaches 93.3%.
