Abstract

This study reviews the management of santri guidance in character building at the Elliwa Trawas Islamic Boarding School by examining the aspects of planning, implementation, organization, and evaluation. The method used is a qualitative case study with data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the planning of guidance is based on the vision and mission of the boarding school, which emphasizes the strengthening of Islamic faith and the formation of noble character. The organization of guidance is carried out collaboratively with a clear division of tasks among the elements of the boarding school. The implementation of guidance is carried out through the example set by the mentors, the habit of daily activities, religious and social activities, and the application of educational discipline. Supervision and evaluation are carried out continuously as a basis for improving the guidance program, while intensive guidance is provided to problematic students through a humanistic approach.
