Abstract

This study aims to explore the psychological well-being of working mothers in the banking sector as they navigate their dual roles as workers and homemakers. The increasing participation of women in the workforce raises the potential for work-family conflict and work stress, which impact mental health. The study employed a qualitative phenomenological approach with five female banking employees selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results indicate that psychological well-being is shaped by subjective experiences influenced by work demands, family circumstances, and individual coping strategies. The findings focused on four main aspects: the emotional experience of dual roles, psychological stress at work, the role of social support and coping, and the impact of role conflict on family life and individual psychological well-being
