Risk Analysis of Crop Failure Due to Climate Change in the Rice Supply Chain in Sidoarjo Regency

The rice supply chain in Sidoarjo Regency faces an increased risk of crop failure due to climate change and weather uncertainty. This study aims to identify, map, and prioritize the risk of crop failure at each stage of the rice supply chain using the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model and the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. The identification results showed that there were 24 risks spread across the plan, source, make, deliver, and return stages. The results of the FMEA analysis showed that the highest risk was inaccuracy of climate and weather information at the planning stage as well as Plant Pesting Organism (OPT) attacks at the production stage. Based on the results of the analysis, proposed improvements include strengthening the climate data system, increasing farmer capacity, implementing Integrated Pest Control, and coordinating supply chains.
