Abstract

Sukodono faces problems of long queues and uncertain schedules due to the manual booking system, as well as customers having difficulty obtaining complete service information. This research aims to design a web-based online barber service booking information system to facilitate customer reservations and optimize queue management. The development method used is Waterfall with stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was developed using React JS for the frontend and Express JS for the backend. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and literature studies. System design using UML includes use case diagrams and data flow diagrams. The results of black-box testing showed a 100% success rate (8/8 features successful), and user testing using a Likert scale obtained a score of 88.76% (Very Good category) from 15 respondents. The system successfully facilitated customers in making online reservations and helped managers optimize reservation and queue management.
