Abstract

 The main focus of this study is to optimize raw material inventory management in order to reduce storage costs. The research methods employed include Always Better Control (ABC) analysis to classify raw materials based on investment value and demand
percentage, as well as a probabilistic recursive backward dynamic programming approach to determine the minimum inventory cost. The results of the ABC analysis indicate material prioritization, with three raw materials categorized as A (high investment value), three as B (medium investment value), and four as C (low investment value). Theapplication of dynamic programming produced a minimum inventory cost of IDR 63,220,048 over a 12-month period.
