This study aims to analyze the application of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) code of ethics in the film The Intern using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis. This film was picked because it is related to strategic communication and professionalism in e-commerce. In order to assess the primary ethical tenets of the PRSA, the study focuses on indications, objects, and interpretations in the movie's scenes. This qualitative study employs observation and documentation to examine speech, visual emotions, and symbolism. The results of the study reveal that the film The Intern corresponds to PRSA principles, such as the free flow of information, disclosure of information, and developing the profession. The benefits of this research help public relations professionals understand how to apply communication ethics in modern work environments, particularly in the world of e-commerce.
