Peer-to-peer lending is a system that allows individuals or small businesses in need of loans to connect directly with investors through an online platform. One of the currently popular peer-to-peer lending platforms within fintech companies is the Adakami platform. There is a gap in legal norms in its smart contract practices. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine whether the smart contract practices provided by Adakami comply with existing regulations and their validity based on the regulations. The method used in this study is normative legal research, utilizing both statutory and conceptual approaches. The results show that Adakami's smart contracts in practice still violate existing regulations, necessitating legal reform, both in terms of substance and institutions, which include recognition of smart contracts as a form of valid agreement, technical standards for implementing digital contracts, and simple and accessible dispute resolution mechanisms
