Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of democratic leadership, organizational transparency, and reward on employee loyalty at Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), with age and last education level as moderating variables. As a state-owned enterprise, PLN's success in providing essential services heavily relies on the dedication and commitment of its employees. Democratic leadership, which encourages employee participation in decision-making, and organizational transparency, which builds trust and involvement, are expected to directly enhance employee loyalty and motivation. Furthermore, rewards—both material and non-material—are also believed to be important factors that can foster employee dedication and cultivate loyalty. This research also considers how demographic factors such as age and last education level influence employee responses to policies and leadership styles in the context of fostering loyalty. The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable insights for PLN's management in formulating more effective strategies to enhance employee loyalty, taking into account their demographic characteristics.
