This study examines the use of Morning Circle activities to support English vocabulary and pronunciation among kindergarten students. Guided by Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) and scaffolding, the study focuses on how teacher–student interaction aids early language acquisition. A qualitative descriptive method was used with six weeks of classroom observation. Data were gathered through field notes on four activities: greeting, singing, counting, and material delivery. Each component showed contributions to language development: greetings provided structured exposure, singing supported pronunciation through rhythm, counting reinforced number vocabulary, and material delivery introduced new words with modeling and gestures. The teacher consistently used scaffolding through repetition, bilingual cues, and demonstrations to engage students. Findings suggest that Morning Circle, when purposefully designed, offers more than a daily routine. It serves as an interactive and effective platform for teaching basic English in early childhood education.
