Abstract

The goal of this project is to create a cassava crushing machine as a cutting-edge substitute for hand chopping techniques in the manufacturing of samiler raw materials. The necessity for increased manufacturing capacity, quality, and efficiency propelled the development. Computer-aided design, or CAD, was used to create the machine in order to maximize its operational effectiveness and structural strength. The Ulrich method, which comprises steps including need discovery, concept creation, and optimal design selection, was used in the design process. With a relative score of 44% and an absolute score of 4.65, Design A was the best option, according to the concept assessment matrix. Design A's structural safety was confirmed by structural simulation, which showed a maximum displacement of 0.019 mm and a safety factor of 22 of the design.
