CV. ABC is a manufacturing company that produces rubber-based goods. The rubber production process has an impact on the environment around the company. This impact is found in the combustion process, which produces hydrocarbon smoke, and the soaking process, which produces liquid waste in the form of residual water from the chiller machine. Smoke and soaking water can be seen in the rubber processing process, which certainly has an impact on the environment around the company if not properly monitored. This impact may also have the potential to affect environmental life in both the short and long term. Results of the study using the Life Cycle Assessment method indicate that the impacts generated during the outsole and sandal manufacturing process can be controlled by adding more economical types of fuel, utilizing leftover rubber pieces for recycling, and using the soaking water from the cooling as an environmentally friendly energy reserve.
