Abstract

Trade unions as a form of organization to protect the rights and interests of workers in order to create welfare without any form of oppression. Harmonious working relationships are crucial to create a safe and productive working environment. In this context, trade unions are useful as mediators between workers and employers, this is useful to ensure the creation of conditions that are useful for mutual prosperity. The working relationship is carried out in relation to the work agreement agreed upon by both parties, but it is different, disputes often arise due to the lack of solidarity between workers and issues of labor status. In order to achieve harmonious working relationships, trade unions must carry out their responsibilities in organizing members and resolving conflicts. Interview with Mr.Sugeng Prayitno S.H., explaining the purpose of trade unions, namely to fight for workers' rights, including decent wages and work safety protection.
