Abstract

Abstract. This research developed a UV-C sterilization device for baby feeding and drinking equipment based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The tool aims to enhance hygiene and safety using UV-C light sterilization and a heating-based drying system, controlled via the Blynk application and ESP32 microcontroller. Tests were conducted on drying effectiveness, bacterial sterilization, temperature sensor accuracy, and remote control capability. The drying system significantly reduced moisture to achieve perfect dryness. The sterilization process proved effective, with ALT values below the SNI standard threshold. The IoT system functioned properly at distances exceeding 60 km, with an average delay of 4.86 seconds. The DS18B20 temperature sensor demonstrated high accuracy, with an average error of only 0.25°C. These results indicate that the developed device is feasible for efficient and modern hygienic treatment of baby utensils.
