PT. Sigma is a company engaged in shoe production which is located on Wonoayu, Sidoarjo Regency. The problem that occurs in the shoe production process is that some waste is still found so that the output produced is still not optimal. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify influential factors that cause defects in shoe products and efforts to control the quality of shoe products in the production process. The method applied is a combined method, namely the lean thinking method to analyze and find the causes of waste in the production process, and the statistical process control method to find the most influential factors that cause defects in products so that it will improve the performance and quality of the products produced. Based on the results of the waste measurement analysis, waste defects in the form of untidy stitches are obtained so that improvements need to be made.
