Reliability Centered Maintenance II (RCM II) is a systematic approach for optimising risk-based maintenance strategies for critical equipment. This research aims to analyse the implementation of RCM II on Gas Turbine Generators (GTG) in the oil and gas industry. The research methods involve functional analysis, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and risk prioritisation using Risk Priority Number (RPN). The conceptual results show that RCM II can identify critical components and formulate preventive and predictive maintenance schedules. The implementation of RCM II is expected to optimise labour and improve the operational reliability of the GTG System. This research demonstrates that RCM II is reliable, as the application of RCM II leads to a structured improvement of each component.
