Preeclampsia is a pregnancy complication that may prolong hospitalization. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Maternal Early Obstetric Warning Score (MEOWS) in predicting hospital stay duration in preeclampsia patients. Conducted as a retrospective cohort study at RSUD R.T. Notopuro Sidoarjo, it involved 276 patients from June 2023 to June 2024. Data were obtained from medical records and analyzed using ROC curves to determine the MEOWS cut-off point, and logistic regression to assess confounding factors such as age, parity, BMI, education, insurance, and hypertension history. Results showed MEOWS had a fairly good predictive ability (AUC = Y; p = 0.001), with an optimal cut-off balancing sensitivity and specificity. MEOWS showed potential as an early screening tool for identifying patients at risk of longer stays, supporting better risk stratification and care planning. Further studies are needed for validation and to enhance its predictive accuracy.
