The rapid development of technology provides many benefits in various aspects of human life. One of them is in facilitating the search for temporary housing or boarding houses through a boarding house search website whose benefits can be felt by both boarding house owners and boarding house seekers. In order for the smartkos website to be able to solve the problems experienced by boarding house owners and boarding house seekers appropriately, the design of the smartkos website was carried out using a combined method, namely design thought and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) using the Exploratory Sequential Design research design consisting of two phases, the first is with a qualitative method and then with a quantitative method. The design thought method is used as a qualitative method to examine the problems and needs of boarding house owners and boarding house seekers. Then the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) as a quantitative method to test the prototype and decide on the readiness to launch the smartkos website for boarding house owners. The results of the study showed that the Smartkos website has effective features in answering the needs of boarding house seekers and owners, such as filter-based search, user reviews, and a reservation system. Based on the evaluation with AHP, the decision to launch the website has the highest priority weight of 61%, indicating that Smartkos is ready to be launched.
