Abstract

The protection system is a very important thung in a company, especially PT PLN (persero). It could even be said that its role is very vytal. The protection system is used as a safety medium against disturbances, both external distubances and internal disturbances from the transformes. short circuit can be caused because the condition of the transformer relay is damp or dirty, therefore an automatic control design is needed so that if the relay experiences a short circuit, the transformer does not experiences a blackout which could be detrimental to the company. To overcome this, the author is trying to create a design, namely Desain Of Smart Relay Usage as Sudden Pressure Alarm on Transformer 150kV at Sekarputih Mojokerto Substation tool. If a short circuit occurs on the internal relay, sudden pressure does not immediately trip the circuit breaker but is programmed first in smart relay
