This research aims to design a circular cardboard paper cutter with an electric motor drive as a solution for piggy bank MSMEs that replaces the manual cutting process. This initiative is driven by the need to meet the production needs of piggy banks in MSMEs. The morphological chart method is used to explore and produce various alternative design concepts. By combining the solutions of each element, various combinations of design concepts can then be produced. The results of the concept selection show that design A is a suitable choice for the needs of MSMEs. Meanwhile, the results of the frame strength simulation in the concept A design show a maximum von mises voltage of 5.433 Mpa, a maximum displacement of 0.041 mm, and a safety factor of 43 > 1, indicating that this design is safe to use.
