Group communication among students of the Open University Pokjar Singapore with a focus on the theory of Ingroup Communication. The purpose of this study The purpose of this study is to explore descriptively the influence of group communication on the achievement of students' common goals and also the handling of each member in facing obstacles from the employer's attitude in accepting members to work while studying. The research method used is descriptive research with data collection through observation and structured interviews with several groups of students. Using the theory of Ingroup Communication, it describes relationships based on loyalty, solidarity, and strong social identification between group members. The results of the study indicate that in the context of Open University Pokjar Singapore students, Ingroup communication plays a role in building togetherness and collective solutions for members who experience obstacles from their employers, so that the achievement of academic goals is maintained.
