Abstract

The development of information technology has transformed human communication and interaction, with social media platforms like TikTok becoming essential. This research examines the celebrification of celebrity children on TikTok, focusing on Rayyanza Malik Ahmad, Bilqis Khumairah Razak, and Gala Sky Ardiansyah. The study employs micro-celebrity theory and celebrification as its framework. The method used is netnography with a qualitative approach, collecting data through literature review and TikTok content analysis. Findings show that celebrification is driven by media exposure, unique characteristics, content creation skills, and popularity measured by followers, likes, and interactions. This study highlights the need to understand its impact on celebrity children and broader social implications.
