Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of teacher professional development in Islamic early childhood education institutions in Sidoarjo Regency using a SWOT analysis approach (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings highlight that teacher development is supported by internal strengths, including an Islamic work culture, supportive school management.  However, challenges such as limited funding, a lack of innovation in teaching methods, and restricted access to technology persist. On the other hand, external opportunities, such as government training programs, advancements in educational technology, and strategic collaborations, can be utilized to address threats like competition among institutions and shifts in educational policies. The study concludes that by leveraging strengths and opportunities while addressing weaknesses and threats, Islamic education institutions in Sidoarjo can enhance their teacher development management. Recommended strategies include improving access to technology, strengthening supervision systems, and fostering external collaborations to ensure higher-quality.
