The presence of information technology should be able to be utilized by court institutions to make the judicial process more efficient and effective as a form of fulfilling the wishes of the public who expect effective handling of cases in court, ease of access to a case and proof of the performance and integrity of justice administrators. This research will describe and analyze the implementation of the grace period for settling cases in court based on SEMA No. 2 of 2014 mainly relates to the use of advances in information technology. This research aims to find and explore the period or time for settling a case in court, especially with the presence of such significant developments in information technology in society. This research method is normative research with a legislative approach to and primary legal materials for legislation with normative analysis of the implementation of the applicable legal basis.
